About us

In The Pink isn’t just a venue — it’s a space we built because no one else would.

Part tattoo shop, part live venue, and part creative free-for-all, ITP is LA’s first all-ages home exclusively for heavy music and underground culture. We’re not here for the big names or the industry hype — we’re here for the openers, the pit crews, the scene kids, the locals, and the lifers.

This space was built by the bands who never got paid, and the fans who never missed a show.

We're here to shake up the industry and give power back to the real community. We built this space the way venues should have been built. A space that puts bands first, fans next, and egos nowhere.

No pay-to-play, no ticket minimums, no national headliners.

Whether you're here for the flash tattoos, the front row, or the community that holds it all together — welcome home.

What We Do

In The Pink (ITP) is more than a venue — a full-spectrum creative space built to serve artists, fans, and forward-thinking brands. We offer a unique mix of services that span music, tattooing, fashion, education, and media.

Click the images below to see a description of each feature that makes ITP a stand-out place to enjoy heavy music.

Our Story

For years, we watched the culture we loved get priced out, pushed aside, or exploited. Big-name venues focused only on headliners, charging pay-to-play fees that shut out rising bands and punished local promoters.

Fans got hit with higher ticket prices. Talented tattoo artists got buried under rent and foot-traffic droughts. DIY shows rose up in response — but they were chaotic, decentralized, and unsafe. The scene deserved better.

We built In The Pink because no one else would.

Founded by Franccesca Tardini, a touring musician and music marketer, and Angel Freeze, a veteran tattoo artist and fellow artist in the scene, ITP was born from frustration and carved out of love.

After a decade of building brands, throwing shows, and living on both sides of the stage, we realized the old model was broken. So we rewrote it.

We didn’t want another venue that relied on liquor sales and once-a-month big-ticket nights. We didn’t want another tattoo shop lost in a sea of storefronts. We wanted something more — something sustainable, inclusive, and built from the ground up by the very people who’ve carried this culture on their backs for decades.

Something Had to Change

So we built ITP. Not for the industry — but for the bands. For the fans. For the misfits who never had a place that felt like theirs.

No national headliners. No egos. No velvet ropes. Just a full-time cultural space that blends live music, tattoos, fashion, education, and digital content — with 11 synergistic revenue streams designed to support the community instead of drain it.

We’re still in the early days — building out our space, growing our network, laying the foundation.

But our mission is loud and clear:

To create a permanent home for heavy music and underground art. A space where young bands can grow. Where tattooers can thrive. Where kids can hang out and find something real.

Our vision is bigger than four walls.

We’re building a global platform — one that includes an artist roster app for gigging musicians, a streetwear line born from the scene, and a scalable model that proves you can still make money without selling out the people who built the culture.

This is the future of independent music. This is a landmark in the making.

You Can Help Build the Future of Heavy Music

Traditional Venues are Dead.

In The Pink exists to redefine what a venue can be — an all-ages, revenue-diverse cultural space and lifestyle brand that puts fans, artists, and underground community first.

We’re scaling something rare: a cultural space that works both online and off.

We’re looking for collaborators, creators, and community builders to help us take it global. Whether you want to help fund the future, support our mission, or get more involved behind the scenes, we’d love to connect.
